Like MOTHER like PAISLEY

Paisley is such a girly girl! She watches every thing us girls do, put on make-up, brush our hair, talk on the phone, and even wear sunglasses while we drive. I was going about the duties of the house, when she caught my eye. She had a little hand-bag (that is mini of mine) over her shoulder talking on her toy cell phone, (like it was an important call) and putting on some glasses she had found. I just had to laugh. It was cute she was acting like she was going into stores and dropping her dollies off at school. Jessie is the one who got this photo, bless him. What a good dad. I realized then I need to be very careful about how I act and what I say now, I have an echo following me.

More pictures From Seth's Birthday

These are my FAVORITE pictures we got of Seth. He is so happy in these photo's, I promise non of us have ever seen him get this happy. We so love him!

Seth's Birthday

Seth had his 8th birthday on the 15th of September. He had a blast! We went bowling and he thumped all of us with a score of 198! We went home to have cake and ice cream, he opened his presents and whacked a pinata to pieces. He got all the Harry Potter DVDs. It was very fun to watch him open them. Each person had brought him a different movie, so every time he opened them he would get even more excited! By the time he was done with the gifts he was shacking with happiness. He is so proud to have all of the "Potter's" now. His aid from school got him a Nick Jr. DVD and a huge bag of individual cheeto's, he loved them!. I am so happy to see Seth get that happy, he truly deserves those blissful moments.

Cell Phone Camera Bandit

I was going through my pictures on my phone this morning and noticed some new photos. I viewed them and I couldn't remember taking them. They were way cute. I kept scrolling down to the next photos. You could tell they were taken by an unsteady hand, and that is how I found the guilty culprit. Seth has been taking pictures! I knew he gets on it to watch a video I recorded one day, but I didn't think he would know how to operate the camera, plus store them. Boy mom's never underestimate the intelligence of your children. I thought you all would get a kick out them, I did.

I got a chance of a life time today! I got to hang out with the rock band Royal Bliss. They are really awesome guys. They have good songs and put on a great show. Jessie, my sister LeAnn, John (her hubby) and my brothers girl friend Meagen all got to go! We got photos, got to chat and hang out for a while. They loved my hair and my sisters that is what got us noticed in the first place! The gave us t-shirts and a good time. The guy that plays rhythm guitar (Chris Harding) got an amazing Fo-Hawk, thank you very much. The picture with me and the guy is Neal Middelton, the lead singer. He is a real nice guy. My husband even liked everyone of the band members. I am still on cloud nine for this opportunity. It was a rock'n good time!

My Sweet baby girl ended up getting surgery on Thursday. I noticed a lump in her ear, I thought it might be a plugged duct or some thing and kept an eye on it. Well in a span of 4 months it doubled in size and hurt Paisley if it was touched. Her balance was getting so she fell down a lot and her speech was not getting any better. I took her in to get it looked at. It ended up being a tumor growing in her ear. It was putting pressure on the ear drum and that was what was causing her balance and speech problems. When they removed it, the doc told me it was the size of a grape and he found an other one in the other ear the size of a pea. Man I am glad I noticed this before it cause major irreversible damage. While she was coming to. I was holding her in my arms and it reminded me of holding her when she was born and it kind of made want to cry thinking about my children in hospitals. She is doing great now and is playing so full of life again keeping her balance now so she can RUN.

Mutton Bustin

On Friday night of the Rodeo, Dominic got the chance to Mutton Bust. He did so good, he held on for so long. He fell off pretty hard though. When that happened it knocked out his breath and when it came back the whole arena could hear his wails. While getting dusted off back behind the announcer stand with tears in his eyes he walked up to the bull and bronk riders and said "I'm a real cowboy too now." He ended up taking 2nd place and winning a big belt buckel. It is displayed proudly so right as you enter our house you see it and can ask him about it. You go my little cowboy!

Playing at the park is one of my kids most favorite thing to do. One morning, as the kids woke up, my sister Bailey and I told the kids we were going to go play. Paisley's face lit up with joy! (see picture 1) We got them dressed and ready , we like to visit both parks, so to make it easier we take turns on going to the one in town and the one at the school by our house. The only sad part of the day is when we have to leave. The flood works start to flow, and hearts are broken, but we all survive and end up still loving each other.

Twilight...saga

OK, so I totally am blaming my new obsession on Kate! She is the one who got me to read these books, and now look!! My life has been turned upside down. I read each book in a matter of 2 days, how sad. If I didn't have the responsibilities as lets say kids, my husband, work, oh-yeah and house work. It only would have taken a day each. So now I have to wait for book 4, and I am climbing the walls! Now there is a movie, is my life ever going to last until then,, probably.

Seth loves to put his hair in a "Fow-Hawk". One day while at school, He styled his hair, snuck one of his teachers sunglasses, grabbed a guitar, and started to rock out! His teacher cought the funny moment with her camera. I just got it emailed to me, and I haven't stopped laughing.

Babysitting Fun

I have to work...to keep my sanity. So to make it possible my younger sister, Bailey, tends my children during the summer. They are in love with her. She plays and really lets them have a fun time. She is so great, she has been bringing her camera to capture moments I have missed, thoughtful for a 15 year old. As you can tell from the photos the kids just eat up the fun.

Paisley our 3rd water bug. On these hot days she isn't fully happy until she is out side in the water! Her new discovery is splashing the people standing by the pool, so watch out or you'll get wet!

Dominic is my tough guy! He is always coming up with wild adventures that he is going to save the world and rid the city of the villeins. I sure love his imagination. After a while I got really interested in his stories that we have started writing them in a book and they are now his bedtime stories.

We took a trip over to Bear Lake this past weekend, swam at the north beach. The water was shallow and warm. Perfect for the kids. You could walk out what seemed for ever and still hit your waist. The kids splashed and played for hours. Time came to pack up and head home. We had just gotten all the kids dressed and loaded and were just putting in the last of the "cargo" when my dad showed Seth how to feed the seagulls. Seth thought it was great that you could get a big group of them then run in the middle of them making them scatter. Well Seth got his eye on one seagulls and he was going to get him. Off he went, so did Seth all the way into the lake....waist deep might I add. So needless to say he rode home in his tighty whiteys wrapped in a blanket all the way home.

Paisley's bithday party was so fun. We kept it simple and had family over, including my brothers girlfriend, Meagen. She is waiting for him while he is serving a mission, hold on Meg keep holding on! Paisley loved her gifts and knew what to do with every one of them. Her cake was the Barbies dress. She got upset when we cut it to serve. All in all it was a fun and happy 2nd birthday for Paisley Jace!
